This is a lovely magenta, somewhere between a deep pink and a red. Because I love the color of carmine so much, I wanted to make a lip rouge that would reflect the hue of that dye, without being altered by iron oxides. I had to add some titanium dioxide for opacity, and kaolin clay to prevent feathering, but as far as the color pigments, only carmine was used. This contains more carmine than the other lip rouges, so it's a little more money. 6g: $12 Ingredients: Coconut oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, CARMINE, titanium dioxide, kaolin clay, glycerin, essential oils (lemon, orange), radish root ferment filtrate.
